Use this thread to post things that have actually happened to you that are so unbelievable that... well... nobody would believe it!

The whole idea being to see if anything even remotely similar has ever happened to anybody else on this forum ; ]

I shall go first with something that I never thought would happen in a gazillion years, I washed my iPod and yet it still lives.

I used to be forgetful when doing the laundry and would always kill USB sticks and handwritten notes (yes we still have those) and tissues, and after a great many losses I started to remember to check the pockets before a wash. This time I didn't and set the machine to heavy load, then when I discovered my error a few days later, the trousers the iPod had been washed in were still in the laundry basket from after I had taken them off the line, I raced to the bedroom and sure enough there was it and the screen was waterlogged and it wouldn't turn on, so I left it in the sink and went to work.
Tonight I get home and thought, maybe I will plug it in just for curiosity sake, and sure enough it actually works, so I left it on charge for about an hour and now the screen is free of moisture and it plays again without a hitch... the bonus being I have never seen it sparkle until now LOL, soooooo clean it is ; ]
