Hey fellow aspergians. I'm not so recently diagnosed (a year ago), but I have just started trying to research in our community 'what is what'. Do you feel, and I am asking the girls/guys as much as the guys/girls (and visa versa!): that there are difficulties attached to relationships, for us, beyond just "mind blindness"? (ie. Not being able to 'read the minds' of others.) I think people have to be charming and interesting, have to work at/out their own interests, before they can offer stuff to 'other halves'. But I do often feel like guys and girls are moving in opposite directions. Recently I got the brainstorm: it's because they are neurotypicals, not because of gender. But I still don't know, because I don't know any atypicals. Any feedback is extremely hoped for and welcomed. Thanks you great guys(/girls!).

Welcome to Aspergic Forum henry. :D

I sometimes have issues with reading peoples minds at times and I sometimes have troubles at noticing sarcasm (I'm alot better at it now than I used to) and I personally prefer to be unique in many ways, I believe once you get to know the inner side of you, then I would interest people what your best at.

Boys and Girls do tend to go separate paths, infact every individual does regardless if she/he is a neurotypicial or an aspie but NT's mostly go with their friends and socializing, some aspies do the same but find it difficult in some ways.

That's just my opinion.
