Still not over this

It’s been three weeks since I had norovirus. I cleaned my apartment as best I could. It could be still going around. Today I went to Wendy’s and used the washroom. There was water on the floor close to the sink and toilet. Not much mind you but I’m worried I walked into a bathroom that overflowed. There was a little bit of poop in the toilet so that’s not good. I cleaned my boots off in the snow and there was lots of salt on the ground. When I got home I sprayed the apartment with alcohol spray as well as my boots. I know none of this stuff kills norovirus but it just makes me feel better. I have two pairs of boots so I swapped them out for different ones I hadn’t used for two weeks. I’m scared of giving it to my parents. This virus has me terrified. I’ve been washing my hands a lot for 20 seconds and so have my parents.

No one post anything scary. I’m traumatized enough.

I'm sorry to hear you are still unwell @Starflowerpower87. I understand your fear, but just wanted to confirm that you are in touch with your doctor about this, right? That seems important due to the duration of your symptoms.

Oh I didn’t mean to confuse anyone I only had it for a week. But I’m just scared of germs. This winter has been hard on me.
Oh, that's good to hear, though I'm sure a week with that feels really awful and way too long. Hope you are well soon.

I also feel better having an alcohol spray. Especially when I was working in other people's homes, I would go through that stuff very quickly.

I started carrying hand sanitizer in my pocket back when I worked retail. There have been times since that I regretted not still having one on me (like when shopping and a can or something has someone's soda spilt all over it and you only realize it after sticking your hand in it).
