RIP Anton Yelchin

He played Chekov in the reboot, he'll still be in the one that comes out in a few weeks.

RIP.
I wonder if they'll retire the character if they make a fourth or recast him? Maybe leave it as a trilogy and do a new reboot?

It's sad that the guy from the reboot died but to me Walter Koenig will always be the original Chekov,

Liked him in the 'new' Star Trek, he seemed so young yet he was older than he actually appeared to be. There was a certain fragility he brought to the role, someone young but willing to improvise and think quickly. Rest in peace.

Apparently in a single vehicle accident involving his own car. He appears to have been responsible for his own death.
