Property Damage and Parental Liability

If in America, a parent will be held responsible for their own child’s behaviour when under the supervision of teachers/mentors in school, does that mean there’s an insurance policy a parent can take out to cover the costs of any such incidents in the states where parents will be held accountable?

It’s going to be a large bill for damages surely?

Parental Responsibility Laws (in all 50 states) :

Bottom line: Be insured as a renter (HO4) or a homeowner (HO3, HO6) carrying Section II liability coverage for property damage and bodily injury if you are a parent.

Otherwise Junior just might cost you a bundle depending on the loss in question. Being mindful of policy exclusions, of course.
