I love pinterest because I'm an obsessive researcher of many things, I make boards separating all of my topics. Currently it is home design, there are tons of great ideas. I don't get spammed but I think it's because I fine tuned my settings.I don't know much about pinterest.
I have looked at some pictures there, but
then the grayness takes over the screen & says I
should start an account.
Does it generate any useless emails/spam to you
once you have an account?

Because some of the items on the suggested pins are paid sponsers. They pay to pop into your search and brainwash you to buy junk you don't need. It is easy to work around that though, it's just like any other site with paid advertisements.Yesterday I gave my neighbor 3 rolls of burlap "ribbon"
that my sister sent me 2 years ago. There was nothing
I wanted to make with it [chartreuse & blue polka dots
and a roll of sort of raspberry plain].
While I was there she looked for projects using burlap
'ribbon.' She seemed to be having trouble keeping
within the topic. Other topics kept intervening. I don't
know why that happened. Neither did she.
