Peter Zeihan

I just watched one from a few days ago, I think he is pretty aware.

I like his stuff just noticed one error he repeated a few times about steel industry recycled versus virgin. Products that he stated can only be made from virgin steel was not correct rather minor detail. but then I can be a nitpicker I don't think he likes Canada much. I think he would be happy if manifest destiny was still on the table.

Anyone else here following this guy's u-tube videos very informative.
I watch him all the time. He has a great presentation style and is a born entertainer. He usually gets the fundamentals correct, except that he pushes his reasoning too far. What he calls inevitable, I call probable. There are always variables and unseen factors that could confound his predictions. In many ways, the world is chaotic.

I expect that is because his audiences want confidence. They listen to him for predictions. If he included all the uncertainties and error bars in his Youtube videos, his subscribers' eyes would glaze, and he'd lose them. People do not find chaos a comfortable place to live. He's prone to hyperbole, which makes him entertaining and draws clicks.

Occasionally I will disagree with him strongly. Pretty unusual, though.

I suspect that when he talks privately to the CIA, or the DoD, or a Fortune 500 CEO, the uncertainties are more prominent. These people do not pay big $$$ for what they could get from a public speech or a Youtube video.

I'm basically following two people what I consider significant, worthy of considering their outlooks seriously Peter is one of them the other is Eric Weinstein. Having hung around bright people my whole life, my family, impressing me with opinions is difficult. Both these guys impress me

Like me he is a dot connector, Some times he misses obvious dots. Keeps talking about how Mexico is on the verge
of having a major growth spurt. How did he miss south American educated and skilled people speak the same language and have a similar culture to Mexico. Ten years from now when U. S. wants these people good luck getting them. Maybe he and the movers and shakers are keeping it to them selves.
