Opinions needed, am I undiagnosed Asperger?

Hello all, my name is George. I am 20 years old (almost 21) and my whole life I sensed that I kinda do not belong in society. But only recently I decided to look what possible could be wrong with me. And obviously, one of the first things that came up was AS. I should probably say on what symptoms/habits I base my assumption, so here goes:
- I never had too many real friends. I can talk with people, but only if they start the conversation first. I do not feel the need to start some discussion about some topic on my own and even when someone is conversing with me, I have no need to take the discussion further, I only answer their questions. Even people around me describe me as quiet lone wolf, who prefers his peace.

- When I meet strangers, it is very hard for me to take initiative and talk to them, unless they approach me first. I never know what should I say or do.

- I like to have the same daily routine and when I am going to do something serious, I have to plan it in my head few days in advance. I do not like "last minute" arrangments.

- I do not mind wearing same clothes few days straight, as long as they are not dirty or start to smell (except underwear of course). I don't know why, but I prefer to and it makes me content to wear the same clothes rather than thinking about picking new sets of clothes.

- I have life-long obsessions, which in my case is English language (I am not native english speaker), IT and Computer games. They are all connected together, as you can see.

So, are those really traits of AS or something else? Thanks, all opinions are welcome.

Those are some traits of AS. I would encourage you to read through some of our forums to see if you can relate to some of the other great people here.
It's highly likely you'll find even more things to relate to, and have those, "AHA, i do that too!!" moments.

Hope you hang around more and see if you can relate to some of us. We're a pretty cool group. :)
Welcome to AC by the way.

I have to agree with Poey--those definitely sound like traits of AS. The obsession with computer games, I can relate to...I have the same thing. :) Welcome to the forums, and enjoy your stay. :)

From what you mentioned it seems you have AS traits. Many things you mentioned described here are some of the symptoms I have.
