New to Understanding Asperger's Syndrome

Hi all. I recently found out my longtime boyfriend is an Aspie. I don't know much about Asperger's Syndrome and I really would love to learn about it, what it really is, and how it effects people. Are there any special Threads or Topics that I should have a look at on this site to learn more about what Asperger's Syndrome really is (from an Aspie's point of view, not a textbook)? Although, book recommendations would be good too. I'm just looking for any suggestions and insight on it :). Thanks guys!
