Hi, all. My name is Stacy Henry, and I am a special education teacher in Georgia. I am in the process of completing my dissertation for my EdD in Special Education, and I have reached the point that I need to find participants for interviews.

I need to find at least 10 young people who are currently enrolled in college who have Asperger Syndrome or high functioning autism. This would be very easy because all I want to know about is your experience with how your high school prepared you for your transition to college.

I'm trying to figure out what makes some people on the spectrum more able to stay in college while others drop out. If you are willing to help me or know someone who is, let me know.

Hi Stacy. You might want to search through the forum threads and topic headings and repost your request. Otherwise, your thread might get buried and no one will see it. There are many young people here, and some do write about their college life. Some speak of great difficulties (often social), while others mention getting special help with coursework. Good Luck!

I'm so sorry it took me so long to get back. Unexpectedly went through a divorce. Sounds like you would be great. How can I contact you?
just dm me. if you want my email or something, i'd be glad to share it there. I'm actually in university now and it's going great. hope I can help.
