Morning, noon or night. Do you function differently?

Usually when I first wake up, I'm equivalent to a drunkard for about an hour. I don't normally become %100 until about noonish. After that I'm normal until it gets into the evening and then it's like my neurons go crazy and I turn into NerdHulk. I get hyper, super creative and jubilant. This lasts until I crash, usually around the same time. Everyday, like clock work.

Does anybody else share this kind of experience?

I'm usually more alert at night than during day. I think I have more anxiety during day but nighttime is more peaceful with less distractions or things to process - less people too. Even when I have been up all night and am about to fall asleep I can still be alert, often thinking of ideas and tasks to do that I didn't achieve throughout the daytime. I'm not a morning/early daytime person at all.

I never thought of it that way. Maybe that's why I've always enjoyed (warm) nights. Have you ever been struck with an epiphany right as you're dozing off? I keep my laptop near me with Word open because it happens all the time to me. Lyrics, plot-lines, philosophical concepts, stuff like that.

as for mornings. I quit smoking because my house didn't have adequate shade and the morning sun was killing me.
