No, but may trigger emotions. For some people, there can be a "dopamine hit" from learning something new, especially if it can positively affect their lives. Some people, like myself, are always seeking more knowledge as if were a hunger. My mind does not like to be bored or quiet, as in like it almost is distressed by not having something to think about, learn, or do. In part, I think this is the mechanism for many of my special interests, as I often find myself digging further and further into topics.Is learning an emotion? It is for me. Like if you define emotion as a states of happiness or intuition, or similarly the sadness and depression of learning about a difficult historic event or at times even rage are embodied in he act of learning.
