Hi, I'm a 17 year-old Aspie from a tiny village somewhere in the UK.
I was officially diagnosed at the age of about 9.
Although my family members and other relatives are all neurotypical, some, like my dad, share distinct AS traits. It helps me get on in life. ^^
My obsessions have varied greatly along the years. From five to seven, I was severely [and I mean ,severely] fixated with, erm, Pokemon.
I've always been fascinated with 'boy' interests, from dinosaurs [which has now developed to dragons] to car models. And I'm a girl.
Now, I'm a certifiable biology geek, and a bibliophile. I adore scientific illustration because of my art and the like. I've applied for University and hope to board this fall
When I was told I had AS, I went through reading this ream of AS-information books, and thought I couldn't possibly live in this world. Now I look back and see what I've achieved, and see that's not true. Life is good.
