Hello, everyone.
My name is Pedro and I?m from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I?m 28 years old and work as a financial analyst.
I found out about this forum while searching for Aspergers?. I accidentally first read about AS a few months ago when I was reading a paper about a famous stocktrader who had the Syndrome. As I didn?t know anything about it, I searched on Wikipedia. I must say I got shocked as I read page after page. When I finished it, I concluded that I could send a picture of me to illustrate the article. Still of today, I read about AS, but I don?t feel particularly interested in getting an official diagnosis by now.
I?ve always known that I was kind of eccentric and I?m cool with the fact that there?s this high chance that I?ve got AS. I?ve had psychotherapy to help me with depression and obsessive compulsive disorder when I was younger. Despite AS has never been pointed out, I can say that I?m OK for quite a while. In matter of fact, I don?t believe AS disables me much from having a pretty normal life. Everybody struggles with something.
It?s really interesting that there?s a bunch of people around the world with a lot of things in common with me. Good to know you.
