Hi all,
Just found this site tonight and thought I'd give it a go.
I'm an Australian man, late 50s, ok going on 60 !! my life has been a series of moving on stories. didn't know I was officially different as being a person with Aspergers till the end of 2009, so just over 2 years ago.
I was thinking last night, I sometimes wish I had never known, I could have just gone on being 'me'. now there is a new 'me' - the apsie man.

About the time zone stuff. I live near Sydney on the East Coast of Australia. as I write it's Tuesday night, 11.00pm (23:00), 17th Jan. Some of you in America may be just beginning the day I've just about finished. However, people in Japan or Korea or East Asia are in a similar time zone to me. -- Just for the record!!

Some jobs I've had include in education and hospitality and as a volunteer in Papua New Guinea (PNG is to the north of here). I've also been to Uni and stuff like that but I do not consider myself to be an academic by any stretch. I do have one unit or subject to do to complete my Masters, so that should be done by June or July.

I'm happily married, so back off if you wanna get 'personal'.

Life is tough much of the time but also heaps of fun too. gotta focus on the fun and happy thoughts as my psychologist advises me.

Oh, and being January it's Summer in Australia. I really don't get websites which insist in having snow icons in December - January. no snow here .. LoL.

that's it for me, write any time. I need to get into the routine of checking in.:cute:
