What’s your favorite show or movie from the old days? I really like the Three Stooges and the classic Goofy shorts, like How to Play Football.

Most any Irwin Allen production always fills me with nostalgia over television I enjoyed as a kid.

"Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea"
"Lost In Space"
"The Time Tunnel"
"Land Of The Giants"

Still disturbing to discover after all these years, most of such programming was cancelled not because of poor ratings, but because the networks hosting them felt they were to expensive to produce, and Irwin Allen usually just threw in the towel when it came to demands to lower their budget below what he could reasonably and creatively work with.

Though as well with movies, I have most of them within my DVD collection. :)

I totally forgot about the Japanese classic 東京物語. I just checked on Youtube and someone uploaded it with English subtitles if anyone is interested.
