Does anybody else's body have a strong reaction to discussions?

Sometimes when I get into an argument with someone - or perhaps it doesn't need to be an argument, could be just a little bit more passionate discussion - it sometimes get too emotional, voices are raised, gestures are really stormy and it's really very powerful...

...Then my body starts doing strange things. My body's temperature increases and I am totally hot, as I had a fever. And then I get a strong headache. Of course, sometimes my body is also shaking... it happens as well.
So does anybody else has such a reaction? Also do you think it could be possibly somehow related to my autism?:)

If I'm not really into the conversation at the time, I sometimes get a sense of cacophony in my ears, such that all the voices run together and I can't follow any strain of conversation. Sometimes I get this on one of the more unruly tv talk shows, like the one with 5 women all interrupting each other.

Oh, yes I do. I sweat and might tremble a bit and my throat tightens up and I almost lose my voice. This happens even if the discussion is just important for some reason. By the time it gets stormy with gestures, I'm outta there!

Whenever i feel like a conversation is going to turn into an argument my heart beats faster, I feel my body heat up and shake and it feels as if my voice sounds different. I always walk away without saying anything because i feel too overwhelmed and want to cry

I try to avoid arguments like the plague. I rarely get into arguments. I weaken if I feel one coming and will quickly change the subject. But a few times it was unavoidable - a need to protect my child(ren) and I become a raving lunatic. Picture a 105 pound girl threatening a 250 pound man if he ever comes near her child again, and the man backing off in fear. Like, I've said before - a mama grizzly here. Otherwise, I'll back off because it does do the physical things to me and doesn't feel good.

Do you know the difference between a mama grizzly and a mama human? Lipstick.

Yes, I get tremors, flush, and foul-smelling sweat runs from my armpits. This happens even if the heated discussion has nothing to do with me but is happening near me. I sometimes get the dissolving-brain feeling that preceeds a plunge into depression and/or a fit of psychomotor agitation..
