I have made a request to join the AC Facebook page, but I haven't received an acceptance or refusal, is their some kind of criteria I have not met? I have no idea who I have to ask.
 
The creator of the Facebook page mentions on it's "About" section that the account isn't used regularly. I haven't clicked the "Add Friend" button for that reason. Instead, I chose to click the "Follow" button.

Bottom line: I you didn't do anything wrong. Becoming a friend of Aspies Central is the same as it would be if you sent a friend request to anyone you know.
