I have AS and i was wondering if anyone here has experience applying for disability rights while attending a college or university? and if so, what rights or support was given to you by the school. I am interested as I have just found out this and will be applying for disability this summer and would like to know what i can expect.

I go to a community college. But they let me take my tests in a seperate place, so it is quieter and it isn't timed. I always finished the tests super quick but it takes some of the pressure off and there were fewer distractions. They said they could also provide someone to come in and take notes for me. This could help if you have problems with auditory processing. It will depend on the school though.

now that you said that(taking notes person) that would really help as i think of it. All college classes are practically a lecture and i do terribly with lectures. Someone taking notes would help me a lot i bet.
