    spider bites

    Dammit When I went outside at 3 a.m. to let the dog go pee, a spider got me. It must have crawled up my pantleg, and stung my upper calf. It’s stinging pretty bad. OW. I don’t think we have browns here and it gets too cold for black widows, but whatever got me, its a formidable pain.

    Curing arachnophobia

    I developed pretty serious arachnophobia when I was a young kid....I recall not being fond of them when I was much younger, and I think I was even scared of the illustrations of an evil spider from one of the Miss Spider books - I think it was Miss Spider's Wedding - at one point in the book...
