As the other reviewers noted, it provides a great walk through of what to expect, feelings before and after, and a checklist of things you may wish to consider. One caveat is that each doctor will have their own style which may also vary depending on what they "see" - and so the exact exams and questions which may be administered will likely be different.
A very good overview on the diagnostic process, and coping with the doubts interim. Also provides a good introduction into what Autism and Asperger's Syndrome is.
This is a very helpful resource in which the author details the steps she took to become professionally diagnosed and breaks the DSM criteria down into simple questions. It is also valuable for people not seeking a professional evaluation that simply want a well-informed self diagnosis.
