You and I both know that your mother doesn't have any power over you unless you allow it.

When my cousin stole $2000 worth of games from me, she lied to my uncle and told him my cousin was too much of a good boy to do anything like that. He got away with that because of my mother’s lies.

This is all in the past. Stop looking behind you because you're not going that way.
I wish I had a large gauge cigar. And a bourbon on the rocks. And time today to enjoy those things.

    Most likely.

Wanna hear the one about caffeine?
The girls at the sleep over running upstairs to tell my mother
    they thought I was dying?

It was nothing that severe, but a spectacular case of hives....

Damn, @tree you have me beat. I mean no disrespect. I wish your life were better.

    Thanks.

I have many helpful reminders of what not to do.
I feel blue, blue like the Navi
Because every food that I love hates my body
Pity me, pity me, I deserve your sadness
Compared to me, everyone is full of gladness

OK, that was the best sad song I could come up with in 30 seconds.
I wish gerd pain would go away permanently right now. I wake up with it most mornings these days.

I am going to write a sad country ballad - Every Food I Love Hates My Body, Especially the Beer

That's a tune I know as well. No fun saying good bye to so many foods we loved. :(

if it is really really bad, doctors can prescribe a few different medicines for GERD ....because if it is really really bad it can lead to bleeding ulcers and other bad things...
Just saw Avatar 2 in the theater in 3D. I missed it the first time around. It sure looks better like that than in 2D on my TV.

I thought the storyline was pretty amateurish. There were too many things that seemed arbitrary and added as surprises without background. It was not internally consistent with the original.
Did weight training this morning. I feel the burn in my arms, shoulders, biceps, triceps and core abs. I ate a high protein low carb lunch afterwards.

Nope-nope-nope. Watch your protein...especially with red meat. A major no-no for anyone suffering from gout.

Oh yeah, I forgot that @Metalhead has gout, now I remember him mentioning it in the past. Maybe non-protein weighted nutrition drinks like Ensure or Glucerna?

l serve my guy delicious meals with green pea powder mixed in, potato salad, mac-cheese, faux crab macaroni salad Hawaii style. l mix in chocolate protein in his grits in the morning. l figure out how to mix protein powder into everything. lol
Because a heavy red meat diet doesn't do him any good.
Stomach feels upset. Not sure why. I have been eating a lot healthier the last couple of weeks.

Great to read this. I am taking pea protein powder, and have been ordering stuff that helps blood, etc., based on what my med spa recommended. It's a journey.

The pharmacy filled my Zepbound prescription even though Medicare denied to cover it. I can't afford $570 a month for it.
Two more work shifts, then comes the weekend, a weekend of video gaming and some physical exercise.
I worry about my trans friends in today’s political climate. They just want to live their lives and not be an open target. They don’t support assassinations.

Aye, I should probably do exactly that as well. I dont exactly need to be spending a ton of added time on the internet anyway.

The trans girlfriend (male-to-female trans) of the suspect is fully cooperating with the FBI even though the suspect told her not to. Apparently she was just as shocked as everybody else. A politician wants to build death camps for trans people, so the crazy keeps outcrazying itself.

Anybody who likes rap should listen to Hazy Shade Of Criminal by Public Enemy. The song was really big in 1993. (No link due to language.) That song encapsulates corrupt politicians wonderfully. I recently had my mom read the lyrics and even she liked it. (She's 80.)
I cannot rely on others for my spiritual and emotional liberation. I have to dig it out from deep within myself and grab it with my own hands.
The Internet totally sucks. It was a mistake.

I had more fun on Prodigy....before the Internet. Before hacking, firewalls and anti-virus concerns. And I still recall how depressed I was about having to go Whole Earth Access and buy a firewall program. Everything began to change.

Prodigy was just a way to access the internet. The internet existed as far back as the 1970s.

No- "Prodigy was an online service that operated from 1984 to 2001, before the widespread use of the Internet. It was one of the major online services in the 1990s, providing access to various networked services." -Wikipedia. Prodigy use involved a proprietary network and GUI before the Internet.

The Internet was "Arapanet" from 1972 to 1991. Closed to the public as a DOD communications research project.
Social media echo chambers exist in all stripes, and they all should be bombed off the face of the planet.
