I was 11 years old when they banned fireworks here, so my friend and I learnt how to make our own explosives out of household chemicals and had a lot of fun exploding meat ant's nests. :)
Ugh, four more days until 32 (I wish time would just slow down).

They say after 40 you're not able to process time or ageing anymore, because we're not evolved to. You look in the mirror and are shocked at what you see. The brain hasn't caught up with the medical advances that have let us live beyond what is now known as middle age. However you can slow down the perception of the passage of time with mindfulness. Or you can stop counting 😋
It's a strange feeling when you wake up early.

As long as it is not super early or I'm not super tired already, I often seem to feel more energetic if I get up an hour or two early.
So, snakes were once lizards who evolved to go without legs so they burrow better? The more you know.

Yeah, but you really should be afraid of the alien lizards who are in every position of power in the world. They came to replace us all.
According to Smithsonian Magazine, Australian moths are the first known insects to navigate by the stars, so...take that humans.

Extremely, explosively, fast over short distances. Over 50 metres they're faster than a horse, but run 100 metres and you'll leave them behind. They're ambush predators though, they'll wait for you to come to them.

Another crocodile tip - you might not be able to see them but you can smell them. They can wait underwater for about an hour hiding, but they fart a lot. :)
Try to stay cool everybody (we're under a heat advisory here).

While I want to visit a town full of hot men, I mean it in a different way than that.
Well, that was nice summer solstice (I love watching fireflies).

    OMG you're so lucky!

I miss watching them here in my city, they used to be super common but urbanization came and now you very rarely see them

I've seen two in, like, 15 years 😞
Anyone else had a knack for calculus when they were younger (that could explain a lot for me)?
Paying off debt is necessary, but a pain in the neck.

It took me almost seven years to wipe out my credit card. I now can get a credit card, but l like not having one.
Apparently, the modern day orca is partly responsible for the extinction of the megladon (a pod can completely exhaust the food supply) .
Komodo dragons are brutal. Their bite prevents the body from clotting, causing immense blood loss as they watch waiting to secure the prey.
