  • I wish I can come across as nice and socially competent as the people around me...

Yeah I wish I was neurotypical at least on some days to at least start up or maintain a social life. I'm always behind
It's nice to be appreciated at work for being organized (even though I would go crazy if I didn't put everything in it's place).

There was a character in the audiobook I just listened to who did that,
organized everything. He went missing for a while and since he's
invisible the only way people could tell was because things became
    disorderly in his absence.

That's sounds like me in a nutshell. Like today when I came in, everything was a mess and I was everywhere fixing everything, and then disappeared in the back when things quieted down.
Being touched can really overload the senses sometimes. But it's also hard telling others that because it makes me feel like an oversensitive jerk.

I completely get it. For me, it's less being touched and more someone's voice. But try telling someone "please stop talking because the tone of voice is sending me into meltdown". Not the greatest way to break the ice.

Agreed with both ^. Also difficult to explain to someone that being near them while they are chewing makes my brain go wacky.
Please do not talk to others while they are eating, not only is that poor manners, but it is a choking hazard. The body can either swallow or breathe, never both.

More like Person A should not force Person B to talk, even if in polite conversation if Person B are in the process of chewing and swallowing.

    OK.
I couldn't see how Person B hearing words would result in a choking hazard.

But you meant, don't try to elicit a spoken response from a person with
    food in their mouth.

    That would be correct.
Another day, another dollar. But let's face it; it's more like fifty cents.

LOL...I use to say something like that many, many years ago.

Yet it still seems to apply. "Another day.....another half-dollar".
I wish I had my Saturdays back, but at least Monday I'm not doing anything. I bet most people would want that.
Working with a bunch of teenagers can make you feel old. But then again living around older people can make you feel like time hasn't passed by so...

Something to consider: Is that those younger than you, are bound to be where you no longer are. Older, experienced, people are a proof that there is much more to learn.

But even the oldest people on earth, still learn everyday. This is a perpetual truth of life.
Had to get a tire patched today. Geez, cars are expensive to maintain.

They sure are. Summers are always a bit painful...with auto insurance premiums due, along with routine maintenance and stat registration fees all within the same three months every year. Ugh. I get it!

the patch costs a lot of money? plugging tires is also an option. I don't have a car thats all i know.

The patch? No. But I had to get my car fixed three times this and last month. That's why it was expensive.
