  • Apparently, my hearing is better than average, which explains why noises bother me so much. Misophonia is no joke.

While I don't have this. I'll agree that it's asking someone to do the impossible.

Misophonia is a real thing and I think there should be remote homes in the middle of fields for us to live comfortably because neighbour noise is my most triggering misophonia sounds
I wish I could interpret facial expressions better, then I would have an easier time telling when trouble is coming.
Is having a monotone normal for autistic people?

Yes. It is a typical feature of Autism. Due to our lack of understanding of vocal tone and how it works in relation to communicating feelings, intentions, and thoughts.

It's something we can adjust, and minimize, with practice.

Sometimes, my socks drive me mad. When the seams by the toe get crooked my brain can barely focus on anything else.

It's actually not that unusual. Alot of people have a word that bothers them. A pet peeve word.

Though a word, like what you stated, can be used as a double entendre. Typically of NSFW nature.

I don't like when people go sshh even on the TV. It makes me cringe.
Ever had that moment when you don't say anything when spoken to because you're afraid of saying something that might offend someone?

Yep. That's the story of my life. Along with not doing tasks, to avoid getting yelled at for making a mistake or doing it wrong.
I hate yard work, particularly weed eating. I have to wear thick gloves and have a mask taped to my face to keep my senses under control. It's not fun.
First day back to work (actually second), and already I'm not at one hundred percent.

I don't know why you were off work, but I so know the feeling. Wishing you lots of energy!
