Could you self-regulate? Or going cold turkey is the only answer? Can you pack up and put in a difficult place to get to? Like people who freeze their credit cards so they won't overspend?

That's what I was thinking. Pack them and store them.
Length of time in storage to yet be determined.
Permanent or temporary....

I've already disconnected my consoles a good while ago back. Everything including my games sit in the closet. The problem is that gaming is about all I think about, outside self-loathing. And knowing that all that stuff sits there unused taunts me. Getting rid of them is the only thing that makes sense. Removing the disease at it's source. Over twenty years wasted on those idiot boxes.

You could sell them?

Do you have an idea of how you would prefer to spend time that was previously spent on video games? Any new hobbies or hopes in mind?

You have a replacement? Like writing , art, reading?? Needlepoint, biking?

Honestly. I said everything out of anger with the videogames thing yesterday. I have realized throwing away or selling everything won't fix my main problem. And no. I still am not in a place mentally where I really have thought of alternatives. Drawing more maybe one, though.
