    I was drinking six cans of Diet Dr Pepper a day, now I am going cold turkey because diet sodas increase insulin production and fat retention in the body.

    That's great. Often a caffeine hit will get me back on line. Vitamin D really helped with my depressive episodes. Are you getting this Vitamin?

    It sounds like you are mostly interested in sleeping right now, not actually dying. Booze helps with sleeping, yes, but you have (wisely) removed that option for yourself. But maybe you can just put your focus on sleeping and things that make you very tired so you can get there and get lots and lots of sleep right now.

    Sleep is a great relief from hardship. It is a useful goal to focus on. Focus on sleep instead of death.
