I don`t know if it is a particular autistic trait. I know I sometimes share stuff about my personal life to people. To only realise after the conversation they were just pretending to care. It might be mostly due to not being able to pick up disinterest in the moment. But it might just be something some of us have in common like some people having blue eyes. And not an autistic trait by default.

I think oversharing is very common among people with autism. Of course, no for everyone, but it seems like many people on this site struggle with that.

I know I overshared when at the doctor's the other day. I felt I needed to explain, but brevity seems to become an issue. I think someone posted a meme on here saying "The ND feeling where you feel you'll be understood if you explain more and better and more and better..." I guess it's like that for me.

Anyway, I kinda caught myself and thought "Ooops, I think I'm info dumping again."

@MildredHubble If I ever come across that meme I`ll be saving it. It feel very recognisable.
