It's a French Dip sandwich. Customary to dip it into the au jus. Considering gravity, I wouldn't recommend dipping the sandwich any other way. Plus I don't expect the French to react to the shape of French Bread for sandwiches.

Let's hope Blue Oyster Cult gets some credit for the tagline. Otherwise some possible litigation from Buck Dharma and his attorneys might make any defendant uneasy.
