Didn't know you were taking a class this summer.
What's the class?

British Literature.

Did you have that in high school, too?

I didn’t take it; I was never assigned the class if there was one at the high school I went to. I didn’t even attend the Spanish class.

It wouldn't have been a required class.
It (English Lit.) would have been an elective.

I don’t remember if it was ever an option. Most of the classes I took were chosen for me. I more or less drifted through high school because I thought it was just simply routines before college.

I think a foreign language was part of the college prep. curriculum
where I went to school.

I wish I had college explained to me better back then.
