I’m mid size and my girlfriend is super plus size, and all of what we’re seeing online is how we are undesirable and need to be fixed by losing weight. This is the same rhetoric that led to me being in treatment for anorexia.
It’s not just about weight. It’s about how we, collectively, need to stop making human beings feel inferior just for being themselves.

I’m not a size 0 or even a 2. I’m a size 14 and I look like this. And I shouldn’t have to be taught to hate myself.

Maybe all the trends are wrong. If we watch the trends from afar, we can see they just go round and round in circles over time. Just be yourself, get your body to do what you want it to do and put on the noise canceling headphones to the world (and the internet!).

Your best body is whatever you end up with when you eat healthily, stay active, stay reasonably clean & get enough sleep.
That won't be skinny for everybody.
And every healthy body shape has its own fan base. (Even some unhealthy ones do, too.)

From the pictures you post here, you seem to be a fine weight for your height. Personally, I try to avoid body image "peer pressure". Don't worry about the other people, I'm sure you know that :) I don't like the look of overly skinny people.

You look healthy. I think that a lot of autistics have an issue with thinking we will be more socially accepted and have more friends if we follow the latest trends. The truth is, we will still be autistic and people will still hate us. There is no point in following trends, therefore, since any "friends" we might get are just shallow people who will wander off when the trend changes.
