Years ago I decided to train for a difficult "sport" exam despite my legs hurting. I had that goal and did not paid attention to anything else. I got a permanent leg injury and also failed the tests. I was unable to run again for years and still hurt today when I try. I hope you will have better luck ignoring the signals of your own body. I wish you luck.
