It’s not too late to learn from past failures. Sometimes after time has gone by and there is less hurt, we can consider our failures in a more useful way and let them instigate change. Learning how to learn from failure is an important skill. It can be learned.

So your spoons are being used up, and maybe you dwell on bad thoughts when your spoons are low? Sorry you feel isolated. But it's good you are talking this out.
