I think the air movement and heat in a city is different from the air movement and heat in more open areas. That affects tornadoes. Do you have a basement? If you have that, you have good shelter.

I hope you stay safe tomorrow. Remember, that if a tornado or other severe events were to occur, take shelter ASAP in a room with no windows, the safest being on the first floor of your house. If you live in a mobile home, do not try and ride out the storm in there as it’s too dangerous.

Go to the nearest storm shelter if you have one (such as a storm cellar or a basement without windows). You should have a weather radio or a storm warning app on your devices to notify you of such events that are about to occur. Take a watch as seriously

as you would a warning. Below I’ve linked a YT video on the safest place to be during a tornado.

Sorry to hear this. My roof was half gone to a hurricane and it was just a freak hit in Sept. Then in Dec, a mini wind thing hit it in reverse and put the roof back down again, then it rained, and it was sitting on the corner of a car roof. What are the odds? Lol

Stay safe.

@Aspychata was this during hurricane Ian a while back in September? I hope your home is OK now.
