I stared at this image for 30 seconds wondering why it was considered wrong before I realized they meant an analog clock.

If they mean an analogue clock there are critical words missing: Draw the hands of a small clock....

I don't think I'm alone in falling down where there are ambiguous instructions like that.

What kind of teacher would mark that wrong? Surely, they can see the child’s line of thinking. People are confusing.

Plus, it’s a really good drawing of a small clock.

@Moogwizard There is nothing wrong with the picture. Just an a-hole teacher nitpicking about a student solving a problem their own way. The clock that the student drew is totally correct.
