My mother hates the horror movies I watch, yet the stuff she watches is pretty horrific. The Real Housewives, Love is Blind, Married at First Sight. Reality TV sucks.

Just remember, Markness, the next time you feel bad about not having a girlfriend - at least you are not starring in Married at First Sight.

Reminds me of a friend’s mom who picks on him about all his interests (and for being gay) when she watches 90 Day Fiance and really grisly true crime shows.

Markness, if your mother really enjoys grisly graphic violent content, buy her Unearthed Film’s uncut and uncensored release of A Serbian Film.

That sounds like something I never want to look up ever. If just reading the synopsis of Midsommar traumatized me, I think I might hide in a bunker for the rest of my life if I read something that violent.

Do not look that up, @Luca. It makes Midsommar look like Sesame Street in comparison.

Thank you for warning me. I absolutely will not

Let me put it like this - that movie was too excessive even by my standards.

It's weird how mainstream true crime is but metal is still deemed offensive

I feel like metal is pretty accepted at this point, but it probably depends on the culture where you live (as does all of this stuff).

@Stuttermabolur Metal is either considered “Satanic” or “nerdy/geeky” in my neck of the woods.
