Glad he's going to be OK. A sick pet is akin to having a sick child to many of us.

I'm curious... what happened? Whatever it was, it sounds scary as heck. I remember an emergency we had with one of my dogs, the total goofball ate a metal buckle thing, and... yeah. Problems. It scared me a lot.

He ate a toy and it was pretty big so it was very likely that he was going to have a blockage. But I took him to the vet immediately and they were able to make him throw it up.
I normally supervise my dogs with toys and I will never make the mistake of not supervising again!

ya know, I've always wondered why dogs do that, eat random objects like that. That's the main problem my dog has and we've never been able to stop him from doing it
