Have you read any of Joseph Campbells work ? It may help you in your journey. I can recommend a book if you wish ?

Great you will really enjoy that book ! It put some things about religion into perspective for me .

I am vaguely familiar with the monomyth and the "hero's journey" I also associate it a bit with tarot cards but that's just my brain finding connections and patterns every where.
