The trouble with this is, nobody prepares you for having to come to grips with your own destiny.
You realize you don't know what your own desires are, so when people ask you "follow your dream" you want to kick them up the arse for being a silly fool.

I'm glad to be able to experience joy again. It's been a long time--This year is the first year it really kicked back in. But I realize I don't know what it's like to really want something deeply. Now imagine re-evaluating career choices made in the middle of a depressive episode you mistook for a healthy mindset...

Anyway that's what I'm doing; trying to figure out what to actually do. It hurts like hell but it seems to be valuable in the long run. Oh well.

Please stay. You're one of my best friends on the Forums. I look forward to all of your olde timey photos and lifestyle posts. Plus you have a good head on your shoulders and you genuinely care about people. You also don't take crap from the flaky folks. I respect what you have to say more than a lot of the other forum members.
