I’m not resentful or anything at all and I know I’m being selfish. I have just never had the experience of going on a trip with friends dog-free (or kid-free or spouse-free, with some of them) unless it was just for the day. My last vacation was a nightmare and a total disaster. I would like to get away too, preferably somewhere tropical.
