I had some nice small but bright yellow fogs for only $50 before. They fit right in the grill below the bumper.
They lasted 5yrs so not bad.
Other ideas: you could take off your mud flaps and decorate them and the intake holes under the front bumper.

Ouch! Well maybe you could make a stencil in a butterfly pattern then the rest would be easy instead of free style.

You could always do the 70's thing and carpet your back deck & dash if you can find a similar pattern small carpet.
