You are so lucky. When I had my car, I would sometimes wake my daughter up at 2 am, with the question "Wanna go to California?" She'd always smile and jump up and pack a bag, and we'd have a wonderful adventure.

That sounds like you all had fun! I try not to drive often as I can't replace my car if something happens to it... instead I fell asleep in my chair & woke up in the middle of the floor having left the lamp on the bookshelf lighted. Guess who gets to wash lamp chimneys today.
