What were they doing there and what did they say to you?

Some guy who acts friendly, was like "I don't want to say this in front of all the people there but we're having a Patriots' Picnic here" and I pried a bit -- apparently 'patriot' is a euphemism for ultraconservative type. The whole thing is weird. I just let him talk, let him dig his grave

I listened & whatnot & not only do I refuse to be associated with ultra-conservatives, which are demolishing the U.S. from the inside; I also don't believe they'd be nearly as "welcoming" if they figured out I'm not a conservative at all.

People always mistake me for one of these people--I've been approached by Tradition Family Property, the "Patriots" MAGA types, and even self-professed Fascists. Getting damnable tired of all this--why do they think I'm one of their profile?

But in the meantime just listening to "Have Gun Will Travel" from 1958, chilling out, learning how to do the American dream of homeownership--I have a "conservative" lifestyle but REFUSE to be associated with MAGA Conservatism/"Patriots"/the rest.

Yesterday had Patriot Day on my regular calendar. It commemorates 9/11[2001]. (It isn't strictly a conservative holiday.)
