  • How's the leg going today? Found any getting-around-it exercise?

It’s getting better! I’ve been doing upper body strength training this week. Earlier in the week I did it sitting down, today I did it in high heels. My GP told me I can walk in heels, so I figured I could do my standing exercise in them too!

As long as it doesn't involve falling down a staircase in stilettos, haha! Sorry, my mind automatically conjures disasters. :)

It’s a valid thought ;) My boyfriend was equal parts amused and concerned when he heard my plans, haha
Feeling pretty down, my inflamed Achilles heels limit so many of my activities :(

Good wishes from me too. A long time ago I had stitches in my ankle and wasn't allowed to flex it for three weeks. So I did a lot of Pilates, without flexing my left ankle! Trying to get out of breath without walking, running or cycling.
Hello! Looks like you're going to be a good example to me with my fitness goals. The things you do! I'm trying to get back into Pilates, which I used to go to a group for before we lived remote. Not so easy to motivate yourself to do it solo. :)

It’s tricky indeed. I’ve been dealing with some stressful life situations lately and decided to deal with those by working out (instead of my usual approach, which is mostly Eating All The Things ;) ) I signed up to an online gym and now I just do my exercises at home. Makes it easier for me because I don’t have to find the courage to go to the gym and I just change clothes and do it the minute I feel like it :)
It’s idiotic how I can perform surgery quite accurately, but I keep accidentally cutting myself while cooking >_<

You’ll be on high alert in surgery whereas in cooking, it’s a more leisurely activity so it’s easier to slip up when not focusing as much. :)

Heh, yeah you’re probably right. Never had HIV risk from slicing a cucumber.

Lol. No malpractice from injured cucumbers.
