    Craigslist. I wouldn't recommend it for beds, but everything else can be had for a song, and much of it is pretty nice. People give away sofas all the time. Dressers, desks, etc. Some of it is from the 1980s and looks dorky, but it will keep your stuff off the floor.

    @tree Yesterday it was the whole 24 hours through 5 am. I am happy to report that she's nearly well but it's in the process of exiting her body, so she's still throwing up and such.
