Those are called imaginary numbers. Numbers that have both qualities are called complex numbers. They are used in real-life engineering problems, though I am not completely familiar with them.

Me neither. But thats ok. The're imaginary. Wumbers are the real deal (at least in theory). See, wumbers exist in two or more different sets simultaneously. Returning to Baxter's Bag. All 40 jellybean's are still in Baxter's set. But he is not in total possesion. An unknown number now belong in the ants set. The problem cannot be solved until a battle is fought or one side surrenders without a fight.

I don't know what a "Baxter's Bag" is. BTW, is that a cigarette or a boom mic in your avatar?

The 40 jbs still remain a single set, JBs belonging to Baxter, but now has two subsets: JBs in Baxter's possession & JBs NOT in Baxter's possession.

if numbers are like stairs, and restrict movement to either up or down, then like the theorized wumbers i propose in addition there must exist wairs which also allow for sideways directionality of stairs

Those wairs must be the ones leading one off of Carlos Castaneda's table.
