  • I had a post deleted for calling out bullying and poor/dangerous logic because apparently that's "political."

Putting words in my mouth regarding a tangential issue that I never mentioned is far from "doing his job,” but I promise that after today if a mod exhibits poor reading comprehension, ignores bullying, or lies about me, I'll take it up with them privately.

You just provided a textbook example of a straw man argument. If you’re going to disagree with me, at least disagree with things I actually said or did.

I was sarcastic and not terribly nice because multiple people were rude and inappropriate. If you want to warn me about being rude to rude people, go ahead. I wasn't a ray of sunshine. But that's not what the criticism was. I never thought that I was stating anything profound or "amazing." I pointed out fallacies in one of a few posts designed to badger the OP.

I'm not doing well, to be honest. No light at the end of this tunnel.

Happy birthday, BlueConundrum! Hope your new therapist is more ASD-aware...and can give you more help with the gift you (and almost all of the rest of us) also have. :-)
I've been slowly introducing the idea of a proper diagnosis with my therapist. Any tips appreciated! I'm having trouble asking directly.

Do you have results printed out from 'tests'/assessments you have done on-line?

I don't! I should bring that. It turns out that my therapist is quitting and I have to start over with a new one so I'll do that when I start. My current therapist is quitting in less than two weeks so it might not be worth it. I'll try to bring it up again tomorrow. Thanks!
Arrrrgh there needs to be a "relate" rating for posts.

Ha! I always interpret "Like" as "Relate" or even just "I read this and am thinking about it." It makes things easier! :D

I associate "like" with "cool", I suppose because my primary association with "like" is how it's used and implemented on Facebook. I think I put "agree" for that particular post? I don't even remember actually. I might have put "friendly". Too bad I can't "like" comments. x)

Yeah, this has always frustrated me too. I use the heart, friendly one. I think a lot of people do to convey empathy and relating :)
