    Strange and weird films from long ago

    I also was very touched by Walkabout. The Gods Must Be Crazy was great. I see very few films. Another great Australian film is Rabbit-Proof Fence. An old but great Russian film is Burnt by the Sun.

    Quite the adventure. Those country roads in Sweden are very narrow. I’m glad you weren’t hurt badly.

    Gabapentin and Autism

    Just for the record, gabapentin has almost completely eliminated my chronic pain with no observed side effects. I’ve been taking it for several years.

    African Gray Parrots can outlive their human partners. When I worked hospice I had a patient with an African Gray. When my patient died, the parrot was very upset and would not let the widow wash his clothes.
