No one can go back and start a new beggining, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.

Does anybody else's body have a strong reaction to discussions?

Whenever i feel like a conversation is going to turn into an argument my heart beats faster, I feel my body heat up and shake and it feels as if my voice sounds different. I always walk away without saying anything because i feel too overwhelmed and want to cry

What Hogwarts house are you in?

That's very common, actually. Belonging to a certain house and show some traits of the other house, or showing a lot of traits of a certain house even though you actually feel like you belong in another house. I'm a Ravenclaw that shows a few Hufflepuff traits as well

Do this also happen to you?

That happens when I'm alone, actually. Like I'm afraid to go out by myself and fear that I'll be robbed, raped or killed, or when I'm home alone I fear that someone will break in, etc

There were a lot of situations I thought just like that so I totally get you

Do this also happen to you?

That's a good comparison, actually. I'm always inside my own world which I opened only to people I'm comfortable with, so anyone outside this world doesn't really matter to me? Like, I remember that when I was in school I'd talk with my friends and even if there were a lot of people around I...

Do this also happen to you?

I think it's easier to feel love for animals and other things because they're just as they act. Humans can always hide their true colors, say things they don't mean, while animals always stay true to themselves and can't actually lie

Do this also happen to you?

Me too, but I do have feelings and feel empathy. It's just that they're directed only to people I like (or love)

Feeling Childish: I get jealous easily + still not understand social standing

What I meant to say was that it's something normal, just like any other feeling. The extension of it varies from person to person. Just like some people feel sad or happy more often than others, some feel jealousy the same way. What makes people think jealousy is something childish is the fact...

Do this also happen to you?

I know that lack of empathy is like a myth about autism, but something that happens often to me is to not understand why do people get so worked up over things related to people that aren't even remotely related to them? Like, if something were to happen with a friend or a family member I would...

Feeling Childish: I get jealous easily + still not understand social standing

Humans can't help but yearn for what they don't have, that will never change no matter how much you age. While it's not childish, it is selfish, but as long as you know it's a bad thing I think it's okay. Because if you're conscious of it you can stop yourself from acting on it and maybe from...

questions regarding autism for child character in short story.

I get what you're going for. As to deal with the kid's panic attack, you have to consider what autism traits you want him to have. If he has sensory issues such as with touch, he wouldn't like to be hugged or touched, and it could make things worse. Of course, there could be some exceptions. I...

questions regarding autism for child character in short story.

Could you give us more information? Like, how was the kid raised, what are they like, what's going on in their life, why did they had a panic attack (or meltdown), who is the person that would be helping them in that case, etc. You have to consider that each kid is different, and that also...
