Hello Ruth and welcome! Thank you for your first five posts! I'm unsure as to the reason for removing asperger's as an official diagnosis.

Still learning the differences between autie/aspie (you are welcome to explain to me, if you would like). I was just recently diagnosed with High Functioning Autism, but he kept implying that if Asperger's were still being diagnosed, I would have fallen under that diagnosis.

I enjoy exploring personality theory (the Enneagram in particular) along with any other books that may lead to a greater self-understanding. Any recommendations that you may have are welcome.
